What happens to the photo you upload, the video we make from it, your account and your payment details, and how to have any of it deleted.

Outstanding Tiny Desk (outstandingtinydesk.com) turns a photo you upload into a short AI video. This page says what we collect to do that, what we do with it, and how long we keep it. Questions go to support@outstandingtinydesk.com.

The short version

Your photos are used to make your video and nothing else. They are deleted when you delete that video. A photo you upload but never use is deleted within 24 hours.
We never use your photos or videos to train AI models and never sell them. Your videos are private to your account; one appears on this site only if you share it.
Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your card number.

What we collect

Account: your email address and name, and your profile picture if you sign in with Google.
Photos you upload: the image file, kept in our cloud storage until you delete the video it was used for. One you upload but never use is deleted within 24 hours.
Videos we make: the finished clip, stored so you can download it again from My videos.
Payments: what you bought, when, and the amount. Card details stay with the payment provider (Stripe).
Usage: pages visited, the buttons that started a purchase or a video, and basic device and browser data, through our own logs and privacy-friendly analytics.

How we use it

To make the video you asked for: your photo and our fixed scene description are sent to our AI video provider, which returns the clip. The provider processes the photo only to produce your video.
To run your account: sign-in, the videos you bought, purchases, receipts and support.
To keep the service working and honest: fixing failed renders, giving back failed videos, preventing abuse.

How long we keep it

Uploaded photos: kept until you delete the video they were used for, then deleted. One you upload but never turn into a video is deleted within 24 hours.
Finished videos: kept while your account exists, so you can download them again. When you delete a video, its photos are deleted; we keep a copy of the video itself for support and safety. Delete your account and your videos go with it.
Nothing is published unless you share it: your videos appear only in My videos. One appears on the site only if you share it, until you stop sharing or delete it. The clips on our home page are examples, never visitors' videos.
Payment records: kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after an account is deleted.

Only upload photos of yourself or of adults who have agreed to it. Do not upload children, public figures or anyone who has not consented. We do not use photos to identify anyone, and we do not build face databases.

AI video provider: receives the photo to render the video.
Cloud storage and hosting: store the files and run the site.
Payment provider (Stripe): processes payments.
Email provider: sends sign-in codes and receipts.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account, photos and videos at any time: write to support@outstandingtinydesk.com. We answer within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we update the date at the top and, for account holders, say so by email.
